Boys' Soccer Tryouts

1. VHSL Athletic Participation/Parental Consent/Physical Examination forms must be completed and turned into the front office prior to the first day of tryouts. These forms will be available at the organizational meeting and in the front office. If your child does not have these forms completed, he/she will not be permitted to tryout.
2. Important Dates and Times - Tryouts will begin directly after school and will run until 4:30 PM every day. Parents should be in the bus loop at 4:30 PM to pick up their children.
a. Friday, Sept. 10th and Monday, Sept. 13th - Tryouts for 8th graders only.
b. Tuesday, Sept. 14th and Wednesday, Sept. 15th - Tryouts for 7th graders only.
c. Thursday, Sept. 16th and Friday, Sept. 17th - Tryouts for 6th graders only.
d. Monday, Sept. 20th - Final team posted.
e. Tuesday, Sept. 21st - First team practice.
Students who are unable to attend tryouts on the day scheduled for their grade level should make arrangements with the coach to attend on an alternate day.
All athletes interested in trying out for the soccer team must participate in two of the tryout dates listed above. Students will not be granted an extension to accommodate conflicts in schedules, absences, incomplete physical forms, etc.
3. To be eligible to represent Tomahawk Creek on the soccer team, students must have passed 5 subjects the previous semester.
4. Most of our games are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These games are held after school and typically last until 5:00 PM. Many away games will require students to leave the final block of classes early on that day. Every player/student is expected to arrange with their teacher any make-up required for the missed time.
