UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS!
The Tomahawk Creek boys' basketball team won the 2012 Chesterfield County Boys' Basketball Championship by beating Falling Creek 57-53! The team finishes the season with an impressive undefeated record of 13-0! Congratulations to all on an outstanding accomplishment!

10K Healthy School Challenge
Tomahawk Creek will be participating this year in the 10K Healthy School Challenge at the Monument Avenue 10K. We are hoping to have a big turnout from our school. When signing up for the race remember to include that you attend Tomahawk Creek. All students that sign up receive a Healthy School Challenge t-shirt. If 50 students register, the shirts will be customized with school name and color. Prizes are also given to schools based on overall participation. The race is March 31.
If you need a tune-up for the 10k you might want to run in the Shamrock 5K at Westchester Commons on March 17. Prizes will also be awarded at this race based on school participation.

PURPLE OUT Game a Big Success!
Congratulations to our boys' basketball team as they defeated the Providence Rams 60-27. The Timberwolves were led on offense by Drew Birchmeier with 25 points and Justin Henry with 19. Chance Callahan, Colin McCoy and Gus Roland lead the team on defense and helped Tomahawk keep Providence to just four points in the fourth quarter to help seal the win on the defensive side. Although it was a slow start, Tomahawk managed to pull away with a strong performance in the third quarter as they played with energy and motivation and supported their coach in this important game.
2011 CHAMPIONS!
The boys' cross country team finished the season undefeated by winning the 2011 Chesterfield County Championship on November 10. The girls' cross country team came in 2nd in the championship meet. Great job, Timberwolves!
Boys' Cross Country Team Wins Northern Division Meet
The boys' cross country team won the divisional race on Wednesday, November 2, at Horner Park. The boys were led by David Lucas with a 1st place finish followed by Grant Northcut who finished 2nd. The other top runners were Zach Wilson, Alex Pheneger, Lucas Via, and Trey Burleson.
The girls' team won 2nd place and was led by Virginia Jesselson with a 3rd place finish. The other top runners for the girls were Cassidy McBain, Harper Henson, Madison Carpenter, Skylar Cochrane, and Katie Daniluk.
The JV race for the boys was won by Chase Slater with Harrison Vicars in a close 2nd place. The other top JV boy runners were Kyle Daniluk, Jonah Firkins, Christian Averill and Matthew Lewandowski. The JV girls' race was led by Madison Gibbons, Rachel McNeil, Sarah Wall, Taylor Huey, Nicole Parnell, and Felicia Lukitsch.

PINK OUT a Big Success!
TCMS students, staff and fans did a tremendous job on Thursday, October 20th. showing their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink was everywhere! During the day, the girls' basketball team held a sale of various goodies to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The athletes and cheerleaders were decked out in pink for the games! Even the Swift Creek team joined the cause as their cheerleaders were wearing pink and the Lady Sailors graciously brought a pink basketball to use for the game.
Due to the Lady Timberwolves' bake sale and proceeds from concessions, $450 will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help find a cure. Way to go, Timberwolves!
